At Manchester Museum I manage the science programmes and projects for secondary schools and college pupils. As the museum is part closed this has given me the opportunity to trial new and innovative ways in how we can use our museum’s weird and wonderful collections to engage with secondary and post 16 pupils in science – mainly through outreach and partnership work.
